There is currently a problem with logging into the RefWorks RCM Add-in in Word that is universal and effecting all users. 


RefWorks are aware of the problem. The problem derives from Microsoft's latest release. Microsoft are aware of this and are working on a fix. It is also impacting other applications. 


The problem is that it is possible to click in and enter details to the Password field but it is not possible to click in and add the email address in the box above. See screenshot below.



As a workaround: 


1. Click in Password field and enter correct details for your account 


2. Navigate to the email login text box from password text box using keyboard: click SHIFT + TAB keys (in windows) 


3. it is still not easy to type the email address required. Type it somewhere else (in the word doc itself, for example) and then copy/paste it into the email field instead 


4. Select Log in 



MS365 Online Workaround:


Alternatively, when opening the document in Word Online in a browser, this issue does not exist. Please note: This workaround does not work in Microsoft Edge.
