We’re glad that you have taken up our Travel Abroad Loan Laptop service.  The laptop is configured completely differently to your standard day-to-day University IT resource, so we would ask that you take a little time to get yourself setup and familiarised before you head off.

Getting Started

  1. Power On: Press the power button to start your laptop. It will guide you through the initial setup process.
  2. Windows Autopilot Setup: Our laptops come pre-configured with Windows Autopilot. This means you won’t need to spend hours configuring settings manually. Autopilot will take care of most of the setup for you. (Typically 5-6 minutes depending on connection speed)
  3. Sign In: Use your company credentials to sign in. If prompted, connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Installed Apps: Autopilot will automatically have installed Microsoft Office for you.
  5. Explore Windows 11: Take a moment to explore Windows 11. There may be some subtle difference to the Operating System (OS) to what you usually use.
