Windows Devices:
The Software Center allows staff and PGRs with university-managed devices to install software for which the University holds a license - no admin privileges required, simply install at your own convenience.
Mac Devices:
You can download and install University licensed software onto your university-managed device from our Self Service app. Contact the IT Service Desk for advice - servicedesk@abdn.ac.uk.
The Software Center facilitates staff and PGR access to costed and free to use software on university-managed devices.
How to Access:
- Go to search box on your university-managed computer (usually bottom left of your screen), and search for Software Center:
- Click on "Open"
- Search for software you wish to use.
Where you are required to purchase a license, request here: Service Desk
- Depending on licensing:
- Some can be used on a university-managed devices and/or a personal devices
- Some packages are available for Mac OS.
