Multiple calendars have been appearing as enabled on mobile devices.  The issue is impacting iPhone, iPad and Android devices.


 

What can you do?

If you do see multiple calendars then you can deselect the Calendars you do not wish to see.  The option for this will depend on your mobile device and calendar application.

 

The images below are from an Apple iPhone running OS14.3 and using Outlook app.

 

  1. Open Outlook mobile app
  2. Click on your Calendar
  3. Click on your profile image at top left to see Calendar options:

 

         

 

  1. Untick the Calendars that you do not wish to see as per image here:

 


 

What is the cause?

We understood that a Microsoft O365 update was the reason for multiple calendars appearing in your Outlook profile.

 

Data Protection 

We have investigated and can confirm that the only calendars that you will be seeing are ones that have been either shared with you or calendars to which you have been given permission.  There is not therefore a data protection issue.  This has been confirmed with the University Data Protection team.
