When a user is already in the OpenText system you can assign access to projects as follows:

  1. Click the Server Manager tab
  2. Click to expand Administer Users and Groups
  3. Click to expand Users
  4. Open the folder that the participant’s username will appear in – for example, if the participant’s username is com097, open the folder C-D.
  5. Locate the participant’s username from the list and click on it once to select it.
  6. From the Action Menu at the top right of the OpenText window, click Edit Project Assignment.

  1. Scroll down the Edit Project Assignment dialog to locate the *name of project* and tick the checkbox alongside it.

Note: The Role should default to Ed.

  1. Click OK

 

Your course participants have now been added to the CMS and assigned access to the appropriate project.
